A short term loan is for a one-off cost you can clear in a few months, not an ongoing gap. Borrow $300 to $5,000, see the full cost first, and pick a term that keeps each repayment realistic.

Short Term Loans
A short term loan is money for a one-off cost you can clear in a few months — a car repair, a rego bill, a replacement appliance — not a top-up for an ongoing shortfall. You borrow, you repay on a set schedule, and it finishes.
With CashnGo that means $300 to $2,000 on a Small Amount Credit Contract over 62 to 180 days, or a Medium Loan of $2,100 to $5,000 over 3 to 12 months. You’ll see the full cost and the finish date before you agree to anything.

The length of a short term loan drives its cost. On a Small Loan the 4% monthly fee applies for every month you take, so clearing it in three months costs less than stretching it to six. Use the calculator at the top to compare terms, then pick the shortest one whose repayment still fits your budget.

The best short term loans have a clear end. Something needed fixing or replacing, you covered it, and a few pay cycles later it’s done. That’s different from borrowing to get through every month — if the same gap keeps returning, another repayment usually makes it harder, not easier.
CashnGo Small Loans run from $300 to $2,000 over 62 to 180 days with fixed fees and no interest. Medium Loans run from $2,100 to $5,000 over 3 to 12 months with a single establishment fee and a capped rate. Both are unsecured, and by law your Small Loan repayments can’t take more than 10% of your net income.
We’re a direct lender holding Australian Credit Licence 431627 — so there’s no broker in the middle, and the team that assesses you is the one you reach on 13 13 11.
Because a Small Loan charges fees instead of interest, the cost is easy to see. Borrow $1,000 over 3 months and you repay $1,320 in total — $1,000 principal, a $200 establishment fee and $120 in monthly fees.
For a Medium Loan, a $3,000 loan over 12 months comes to $4,289 in total, including the $400 establishment fee, at a rate capped at 48% p.a. (comparison rate 65.6597% p.a.).
If you’d be borrowing to cover another debt, or the shortfall comes back every payday, pause before applying. A bill provider may offer a payment plan, and a Centrelink advance or a No Interest Loan (NILS) can be far cheaper.

How It WorksThe things people ask us most — without the fine-print voice.
It’s a loan for a one-off cost you can repay over a few months. With CashnGo that’s $300 to $2,000 on a Small Amount Credit Contract over 62 to 180 days, or $2,100 to $5,000 on a Medium Loan over 3 to 12 months. Both are unsecured personal loans.
A payday loan is one type of short term loan — specifically a Small Amount Credit Contract of up to $2,000. “Short term loan” is the broader term and also covers our Medium Loans up to $5,000. Very short contracts of 15 days or less are prohibited in Australia.
Small Loans of $2,000 or less have no interest — a 20% establishment fee plus a 4% monthly fee. Borrow $1,000 over 3 months and you repay $1,320 in total.
Medium Loans of $2,100 to $5,000 have a $400 establishment fee and a maximum rate of 48% p.a. (comparison rate 65.6597% p.a.). Every figure that applies to your loan is shown before you sign.
On a Small Loan, yes. The 4% monthly fee applies for each month of the loan, so a shorter term costs less overall. Clearing $1,000 over 3 months costs less in fees than taking it over 6.
$300 to $5,000, depending on your income, your regular commitments and what you can comfortably repay. First-time customers may be eligible for up to $600 if employed, or up to $300 on Centrelink income. You’ll need to finish an existing CashnGo loan before taking another.
About five minutes to apply, and most people get an outcome in seconds. Some applications need a closer look, which can take up to a business day. Once you accept and sign, we send the transfer straight away; your bank decides when it lands.
Yes, at any time and at no extra cost. On a Small Loan the monthly fees stop from the day it’s paid out, so clearing it early saves you money.

Often. A Centrelink advance is interest-free if you’re eligible, a No Interest Loan (NILS) covers essentials with no interest or fees, and a bill provider may offer a payment plan. It’s worth checking these first.
