Reputable Direct Lender
Straight to the source.
No middlemen, no running around. You deal directly with us from application through to repayment.
A default or a thin credit file doesn’t automatically rule you out. We look at your income and spending today as well as your history — and we’ll be straight with you, because approval is never guaranteed.

Actual loan terms, rates, and fees may vary based on your circumstances, our credit assessment, and responsible lending obligations.
Bad Credit Loans
Bad credit isn’t a separate loan — it’s a circumstance we take into account. A default, a missed payment or a thin file doesn’t automatically rule you out, because we look at how your money works today, not only what happened before.
We still run a credit check, and we can’t promise an outcome. What we can promise is a straight answer and the full cost up front, whether you’re assessed for $300 to $2,000 as a Small Loan or $2,100 to $5,000 as a Medium Loan.

Every application leaves an enquiry on your credit file, so it pays to prepare. You can get a free copy of your credit report every three months and have any mistakes fixed at no cost. If money is tight right now, a No Interest Loan (NILS), a Centrelink advance or the free National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 may help more than new borrowing.

Plenty of people carry a mark on their credit file from a rough patch — a job loss, an illness, a bill that got away. It matters, but it isn’t the only thing we look at. We weigh up your current income, your recent spending and whether a repayment genuinely fits before we make a decision.
That also means we sometimes say no, and that can be the right call. Responsible lending law requires us to check a loan won’t put you into hardship, so when a loan doesn’t fit, saying so protects you from a debt that would only add to the problem.
CashnGo is a licensed direct lender holding Australian Credit Licence 431627, and a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. If you’re ever unhappy with a decision or a loan, there’s an independent path to have it reviewed.
You apply in about five minutes and connect your bank through a secure read-only feed. We review your income and expenses, run a credit check, and look at your recent history rather than your score alone. Most people get an outcome in seconds; some applications need a closer look.
If you’re bankrupt, or in a Part IX debt agreement or Part X personal insolvency agreement, we won’t be able to help. And because every application is recorded on your file, it’s worth applying only when you’re ready rather than making several attempts at once.
Sometimes — but there’s no guarantee, and it depends entirely on how the loan is managed. Repayments made on time can help your history over time; late or missed payments can set it back. A loan is a tool, not a repair service.
You can also help yourself for free: get your credit report, fix any errors, and pay regular bills on time. The government’s Moneysmart website has plain-English guides, and the free National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 can help if debt is the real issue.

How It WorksHonest answers about how we assess, what it costs, and where to get free help.
You can apply, and a default or thin file doesn’t automatically rule you out — we look at your current income and spending as well as your credit history. We do run a credit check and approval is never guaranteed.
Yes. Like any licensed lender we check your credit history, and applying leaves an enquiry on your file. We weigh that history alongside your current situation rather than relying on a score alone.
Each application is recorded on your credit report, and several applications in a short time can lower your score. It’s best to apply only when you’re ready, not to try several lenders at once.
Sometimes a loan doesn’t fit, and saying no is part of responsible lending — it protects you from a repayment you can’t manage. If that happens, check your credit report for errors, and remember free help is available from the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007.
Your credit history doesn’t change the price. Small Loans of $2,000 or less have no interest — a 20% establishment fee plus a 4% monthly fee. Borrow $1,000 over 3 months and you repay $1,320 in total.
Medium Loans of $2,100 to $5,000 have a $400 establishment fee and a maximum rate of 48% p.a. (comparison rate 65.6597% p.a.).
It can, but there’s no guarantee. Repayments made on time can help your history over time; late or missed payments can set it back. How you manage the loan is what matters most.
You need to be at least 18, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and receiving a regular income for at least three months. If you’re bankrupt or in a Part IX or Part X arrangement, we won’t be able to help.
You can. We take the type and amount of your Centrelink income into account as part of the assessment. First-time customers on Centrelink income may be eligible for up to $300.
You can get a free copy from a credit reporting body every three months, and have any errors fixed at no cost — you don’t need to pay a credit-repair company. The government’s Moneysmart website explains how.
