Education Loans
An education loan here is a short personal loan for study costs that sit outside HECS-HELP: a short-course fee, TAFE materials, textbooks, a laptop, tools for an apprenticeship, or school uniforms and an excursion that landed in the same fortnight.
CashnGo lends up to $5,000. It will not replace a university HELP loan, and it should not. It is for the practical extras that decide whether you can actually start.

Use the course invoice or the school list, not a guess. Borrow for what you need this term, leave room for rent, and get on with the first week instead of waiting on the next pay.

It is an unsecured personal loan used for education-related costs. Government HELP loans remain the usual way to defer eligible higher-education tuition. CashnGo is the smaller, faster option for costs HELP does not cover, or for short courses that are not on that system.
Whether you take a Small Loan of $2,000 or less or a Medium Loan of $2,100 to $5,000, both are assessed on your current income and expenses. Being a student does not change the price; affordability still does.
The best education loan has a clear invoice: this course, this laptop, this term’s books. If the gap is every semester and growing, a short-term loan will not keep up. Talk to the provider about payment plans, scholarships or concession fees first.
You can repay early at no extra cost if a tax return, a new job or family help lands mid-term.

How It WorksHow education loans differ from HECS, what they cover, and who can apply.
No. HECS-HELP is a government loan for eligible higher-education tuition, repaid through the tax system. CashnGo is a private personal loan of up to $5,000 for other study costs, repaid on a schedule you agree up front.
Short-course and TAFE fees, textbooks, uniforms, tools, a laptop or software, school extras and similar one-off study costs. Ongoing living expenses while you study may not be a suitable purpose.
Yes, if you are at least 18, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and you have a regular income we can assess. Centrelink as part of your income can be considered; we still check that repayments fit.
No. Approved funds go to your bank account. You pay the provider, the bookstore or the laptop retailer yourself.
Up to $5,000, depending on the cost, your income and existing commitments. First-time customers may be offered a lower starting amount.
About five minutes online, with many people receiving an outcome in seconds. Some applications take longer. We send approved funds after you sign; your bank controls when they arrive.
